I decided the openpandora is no longer for me so I sent an email asking for a refund.

I had a response on the 26th August stating that it was being processed and to confirm my card details associated with my Google account, I responded stating that my card had expired and that I have now associated my new card with my account.

I never received a response to that email, nor have I received a refund.

Not a happy camper!

So, was that confirmation, etc. done via Google Checkout or how did you do the payment?

I paid via google checkout, just checked my mail history and found this:

Hello xxx,

Thanks for buying from Open Pandora Ltd using Google Checkout! Open Pandora Ltd will charge and ship your order soon.

and this:

Dear xxx,

Thanks for your recent purchase from Open Pandora Ltd.

We'd really appreciate hearing about your experience. Please take a moment to tell us about it by filling out the form below. We will publish your review online so that others can learn from your experience. Excellent: I would definitely buy from this store again. Poor: I would discourage others from this store.

How was your overall experience with this store?

I was asked how I made payment etc.

I've not received any correspondence from Google or anyone else after the first email stating I would get a refund.

That's not about a refund... that's when you actually bought your pandora.

Yes, but whom did you tell about your new credit card? Google Checkout? Or anyone else?

I logged into my Google Account and set-up the card and removed the expired card. I've not done anything else expect email Jacquelyn to let her know I had to do that.

Im In the same situation, mine was canceled on the 02/10/2011 by op and no refund yet.

These threads are getting to be quite common lately.

Getting Google checkout to even purchase an Item seems to be an act of luck.. Not too impressed with the service I've had with them so far.

A friend of mine works in google. He said that google checkout nearly died at its inception because google fucked it up.Apparently what saved it was that all transactions on the android market (For apps etc) are done through Checkout and this generates income. It is i think the only payment method available for android.

Yeah I emailed 2 weeks ago and still haven't gotten a response either. Really wish cancelling was easier some how.

This is an issue with googlecheckout and we're trying to solve it at the moment.
So does that mean we will get our refunds as soon as you have sorted google checkout problem?.

I'm also curious as to the status of the google checkout orders. I was told that my premium wifiless pandora would ship a week and a half ago, but I haven't heard anything. Perhaps the google checkout problem has caused a delay?

When I bought my pre-order forever ago through Jacquelyn it took 2 months of dealing with google checkout to finally get the money through. Google checkout is garbage. I'm not surprised their messing up people's refunds.

That is what happen to companies who try to put the paws on everything, their service gets poorer and poorer. Just because a company has multimillion of dollars don't mean they know how to do everything.

I would really like to know the answer to his too, as other members have mentioned in other threads that there isn't the money available at this time for refunds and to wait till you have your financial backing in place. Is this the case or is it just an issue with Google checkout?
