I was just wondering...
For no apparent reason, I suddently want to play simulators again. Which is kind of wierd since I haven't played sim-games since the Amiga days.
Anyway... I was wondering if there is a modern game that's similar to the Amiga game Armour Geddon (Psygnosis). It's a kind of simulator that has a R & D part, so it's a strategic game too. You could produce and steer any number of different vehicles (plane, bomber, helicopter, tank and hovercraft).
The game was flawed in so many ways (mainly an annoying time-limit), but had something about it which made me (and my friend) spend lots of time on it.
I'm also looking for a good suggestion for a helicopter sim, since I Haven't played one since Gunship 2000 - noticed there are a few modern ones but I'm clueless.
Mainly I'm wondering about the modern simulation/strategic hybrid though...
