Will there be a possibility for something like final draft 7 or celt-x or (my preference) writeway standard to run on the Pandora?

Final Draft will obviously not run on the Pandora.

With Celt-X I can't seem to find the source. And they have 32bit and 64bit versions available for download.

No idea if it could be build for arm. I see that they have a mobile version for the iPhone though.

"vi" is the best script-writing software I know. It is available on the pandora nand

Mind you that 'script' here means film-script or similar. Not a script in a programming-language :p

@ Alex H. G. Kidd you are looking at 'Portable Celtx' which is not the same as: http://celtx.com/

You can download a tarball here: http://celtx.com/addons.html?dlfile=Celtx-2.9.1.tar.bz2

Someone should then take the effort to port it :)

thanks for the trouble but I'm using scripped.com now, that should still work right? It's browser-based.

^ Assuming that it doesn't rely on silly Microsoft Windows-only features that only exist in Microsoft Internet Explorer (it's thankfully getting less common now, but it does still happen sometimes), then as far as I know, it should be ok. :p

That said, I can't find any information on their website as to what it uses or how it works, so I couldn't say for definite.

Which brings us back to Emacs: screenwriter-mode :p

I have never used any software of this type, so I can't comment on the quality.
