Ready.... set.......................... GO!

My personal wishlist, and In NO particular order:

1) FM Transmitter

2) More RAM (not the first person to mention this, I'm sure)

3) Non-US character stickers for keyboard keys / option to order Pandora with keys already marked with language of choice (more usage before it rubs/peels off)

4) Option to purchase with X-Stylus

5) That's it for me

~~~
Post your own!
I don't really care about more ram, there is not really a point, the ram only ever gets maxed out with Firefox, but other browsers do just as well anyways.
FM transmitter would be fun, but not something I'm looking for.
I'm Canadian so US layout works fine for me.
X-Stylus would be cool, but I have no issues with the current stylus
I would like a Cortex A9 chip in there, that would probably statisfy your ram wish, but it is probably not something the team could add at the moment.
I want them to get production up again so more people can get a pandora, and we will have a bigger developer base.
An actual Pandora in my hands. That is all.
I feel the same, I really do
I was just trying to open a free discussion about what people think could be improved with the product, company, etc.
Not having mine yet has made me romanticize about what I thought could be better about it
If it were an arm powered amiga 500 handheld.It would have to be called the G-Amiga.Thats what i really want.
That's definitely a *wish* list.
The good news is, you can have all those.
The bad news: the battery life will be about 10 minutes, and it'll take Two Decades
There are some sensible suggestions in there, though, such as notched hinge positions, better hardware, better case and, of course, HDMI out which would be pretty high on my list.
it was serious and thought out... but i never intend to actually see half of them... at least not for the next 5 years... but its a wish list and I was inthe mood to dream... the pandora with all that crap would be my *dream device*
nothing i put is impossible... some are improbable... all together are rather unlikely
but maybe one or two will make the cut in the next revision
The main things I'd like to see are:
-L2, R2 buttons
-more power
-higher resolution screen
-better WiFi
That's pretty much it.
It was posts like this that made me think that when the Pandora 2 is being thought out we should have 2 cartridge slots (may be a bit bigger that a DS cartridge (ask the hardware guys))
One would be at the front and replace one of the sd slots (but would come with a sd card reader cartridge)
The one at the back would come empty.
Then, instead of stuffing tonnes of phone/gps/camera/radio/tv hardware in:
(expensive)(not everyone wants all that)(takes up lots of space)(complicated one-piece pcb to give production/hardware devs a headache)
things sticking out would only do so by under cm or so I think.
We could then produce all that as cartridges 2 months at a time and sell them seperately:
Navigation: contains gps and digital compass [flush]
Broadcast media: DAB/DMB/DAB+/FM/DVB chipset [tv out socket and antenna sticking out ]
Mobile interwebs: contains sim card slot [flush]
USB hub: [dwisott]
Hacker cartridge 1: takes the raw USB/I2C conections and provides connections too them
Hacker cartridge 2: provides nice protected, buffered, and easily controlled output pins. [sticks out]
2 way comms ports: IR, Xbee?
Camera cartridge: small protruding camera [put in front slot for user facing /etc]
Tactile gaming: gyro, accelerometer haptic feedback vibrator.
Battery hot-swap: small rechargeable battery. (put in when main one is empty, swap main battery, optionally charge back up form main battery or mains. (for those who don't want the above features they could get some extra battery life!)
when the built in stuff becomes obsolete a supplement cartridge could be made (e.g.for physically different memory cards/the latest wifi.
I think this would help keep the project up to date and appeal to a wider rage of users while keeping the cost down.
