Hey all, I'm just wondering if anyone knows where I could find a copy of Fahrenheit (European version of Indigo Prophecy) online? Someplace that ships to North America? And preferably for XBox? I don't usually import games so I'm not sure where to get this, and I damn sure don't know where would have the best price and reputation for not screwing over customers. Thanks. :)

A lot of UK online sellers ship to other countries. www.play.com usualy has fantastic prices. Could also try www.gameplay.com (the people I bought it from 'cus they often get it to you the day or day before release).

Don't Amazon usually allow you to import from there other national sites? I know you can order American stuff thru Amazon.co.uk (or at least, used to be able to)

Do they not sell it in Canada? Or won't an American version do? It's well, well worth getting, one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long time.

They do, but the European version has added content that couldn't get by the censors here in North America (read: the United States). I can't stand the thought that I'm missing out on something.

Thanks for the links!

Indeed the interactive sex mini-games (of which there are two, I believe); probably would have been allowed had Rockstar not destroyed gaming with their idiocy. <_<

Regardless, it's an amazing game, and everyone should at least give it a try. :D

3 sex minigames if iam right :)
i realy dont get how americans can be upset about two people laying on each other while its ok to kill 45564people, crazy kind of moral...

well, if i would be you just buy the local version and download the eu one.

Both on the Atari forums and the Omikron: The Nomad Soul forums, there's been a lot of buzz about the sex scenes being removed. They're honestly very small parts of the game, and that was only to JUST get the NC-17 here in North America, cause they know that anything higher would be busines suicide here. They can't afford a media blitz like Rockstar Games could, so it was either lose the scenes, or lose more customers.

Just a theory on this:

We Americans love sex, prehaps a bit too much. The more you throw it at us the more we want it and all that desire is just too much for the theocratic machine, All that "livin' in sin" and "debochery" just isnt any good for us apprently and brings us one step closer to sodom and Gammora all over again or something. Especially since it's so much easier to go out and get your rocks off than it is to kill someone. This is even worse when you start factoring kids in especially since the ESRB is a freaking joke (they just added a new separation between games suitable for 6 and 10 year olds! WTF!?). Show a kid how to "do it" and he'll be more likely to try it before he's ready where as we grow up watching violent cartoons and movies which are hard to recreate and usually involve pain.

So basically; Americans are dangerously horny due to the excess of availible sexual content but generally too lazy to kill anyone so violence isn't as bad. Go figure.
