Can you re-install all your gngeo directory?

MetalSlug 3 doesn't seem to work though its says its supported on the wiki I have the newest unibios installed and have checked the roms against mame 1.0.4 any idea were Im going wrong? metal slug 1 2 and X work just fine. I have tried disabling sound and changing to and from the unibios. Could this be a bug?

Yeah, ill try to reinstall the entire emu when i get home.

As i said, i added "system=unibios" without quotes in the onfig using notepad and saving over it. did I do the right thing?

you need the decrypted version, don't expect perfect graphics though as the overlays don't appear, and you need sound enabled or it will crash.

pepone has said that he is working to make this game fully compatible.

I have only skim-read this topic, but have you made sure that the roms inside the .zip match those that are listed in the romrc file in gngeo.

If they don't rename and then rezip the archive and try again.

:)

Let me know how you get on and PM if you still are having troubles and i'll zip up my neogeo dir and send it to you..less the ROMS as that would be illegal...

Funny, I've tried getting it to work with the decrypted version, and I get a large amount of garbled graphics (i.e. unplayable)

Any chance of a volumn setting option in a future release...its a mad rush on the train to turn the volumn down...(I dont tent to use head phones..)

:D

Pepone, you would be proud, the number of PSP fan boyz that want to know what the system is when I on purpose pull it out in front of them and fire up neo geo as they travel home...

yep, bad dumps :(

I was able to find a working metalslugX dump on the internet and it began to load but then I got the note:

in order to run this you must create a dump which will take up 48 mb on your sd.

I proceeded but am not thrilled about this.....

any way around it?

I seem to be having the same problems as daclassicgamingmaster. All the games that I know worked with the previous version just exit to the GP2X main menu with the Drz80 version. As for bios files go, I am using the latest unibios which was used with the previous version so I highly doubt anything is wrong with the like. For anybody who wants to know, I have tried games from SNK vs Capcom down to Panic Bomberman and Windjammers and all of them yield the same result. Is there anyway to resolve the problem? All these awesome comments about the new version are making me feel left out :(

hi,

i´ve asked this a whila ago in the main gngeo-thread, but still got no answer. so i´ll give it another try :)

@pepone: is savestate support planned for future releases of gngeo2x?

greetings
