3G USB Modem (or Portable Wireless Hotspot) for the Pandora

Your welcome and sorry it didnt fix you up. Sadly its all greek to me as I'm more of a linux know nothing than I would think yourself. I just lurk and glean from things when they are ready, or trial everything I can get my head around and lay praise where due. I've been a jammy git thus far Pandora wise and bar some hardware failures have had a smooth software ride.

Hopefully one of the smart folk will head over and get you sorted. Its why I opted for a mifi, as I could tell the sticks were gonna be some work to get going. Thanks to Prometheus my mifi is now working as it should do with the Pandora. You could perhaps try a PM to the chap from that thread, or Alerino maybe, as I think he got a similar model going. Sorry I cant be more help :)

Ok

So shopping around (and getting confused), I decided on getting the:

Vodafone Huawei k3765 USB modem.

When I had the opportunity to do a little research I found out it uses 'special drivers' not the standard Huawei drivers! :(

However, it seems one can 'unlock' the device and also flash it.

I also found this:

As I don't have my Pandora yet and am a 'techie wannabe' I have no idea if any of this helps.

Could someone more sussed please have a look and see if there's any hope for getting this Modem to work with the Pandora?

Thanks. :(
