A way to divine your number in line?

Well, I pre-ordered before the email went out, or at least before I got it, at about 11am PST here in Seattle, WA. So I'm hoping I got in line early. Just punched in the site address on my lunch break, saw the link to pre-order, and did so.

Then again, I was a cheap-ass on the shipping, so, we'll see I suppose.

Either way, I'm super exited for my Pandora to arrive. I pretty recently discovered the Pandora, after realizing I really wanted a computer I could fit in my pocket (more or less a computer at least), I looked up the GP2X since I was too broke to afford it the first time I wanted it, and discovered this new pocket sized beast was coming out soon, so I held out for it instead.

Even if it's only 1/4 as cool as I want it to be, I think I can still safely classify it as super cool.

It seems capable of running just about every console game, PSX and before, AND should have DOSBox? Thats like every game I play on my computer right there.

Between DOSBox and ScummVM, I can already see myself going back to work from lunch late every day. Combine that with WiFi, and mp3 playback? I'll be lucky if I get any work done! Ah well, it should be awesome either way.

There's a way to divine it, let's just gather as many timestamps on confirmation emails as we can (and make sure they're in the same time zone). Let's use UTC, because that timestamp was the most precise one I could find in my email header :p

And perhaps the OP could keep the list up to date in his post so it's easy to find the list.

My time: 30 Sep 2008 18:40:09.0532

I tried to start a new thread to gather timestamps in, but it got locked with a link here. Not sure why, as this thread doesn't serve the same purpose, and we can't make a list as easily. Sure, we won't be able to find our exact place in line through timestamps, especially with multiple distributors, but hell.. it's something to do :p

Well, just in case we get it rolling - mine is:

30/09 18:28 GMT

[edit] ...and I ordered two.

That's GMT, copied straight from the email. One unit.

props to anyone insane enough to actually sort through 4000 replies!

Agreed; and why not......Wed, 1 Oct 2008 00:58:15 +0100 (BST)

Some one will try and they'll be something partial, I wont trust it.

Ok, I'll try to keep the list. I just wanted it in the first post so it was easier to find...

come on, I know more than 8 Pandoras were ordered :p

Please make sure you people include the day you ordered it on, and preferably in GMT and 24 hour time. Seriously, I don't want to have to convert from any of your silly time zones. If you want the really exact time like mine, if you use Gmail, just click the arrow to the right of reply and pick view original. In the header you should be able to find the UTC timestamp from when the email was sent to you (not when it was received).

UPDATE: WHAT PART OF GMT DO YOU PEOPLE HAVE TROUBLE WITH D:
UPDATE 2: WHY HAVEN'T I WRITTEN SOMETHING TO ORGANIZE THESE FOR ME YET?!
UPDATE 3: I'm going to start using Excel since I remembered that was still installed.

I can't add you. Is that PST or PDT? And really, why can't you just give it to me in GMT like I asked D:
