You're right, I'm here on my own accord.

And Chip, if I misinterpreted your original post, I'm sorry for the invective, really. And as Squidge said, if this delay is due to issues, then I apologize to the devs as well. I've gotten the impression that, from comments by mods and people involved with the project, that everything is straightened out and we just haven't been informed yet. Time will tell, I suppose...

1. Where'd you get your time machine? I'm not saying that the quality won't be up there, but I can't say that it will since I (and you, and everybody else in the world) have not seen the final product.
No one has seen the final product because it isn't finished yet (I thought this one was a no-brainer).

Exactly. How can you say what the quality of the final product will be like?

Seriously lay off the team for christ's sake! Bitching on these forums about "we need info/bawwwwwwwwwwwwww paypal/the N64 emulator has a chance of not autofellating me" is NOT making any positive effect on this community. CALM DOWN! Indeed. Everybody has the same information as everybody else. It is just a simple decision - "Is this enough to convince me or not?". If it is, preorder, if not, wait until the info becomes availble. Just quit the silly extorsion attempts.

I think you guys better start sending each other hand written letters with ox blood ink written by candlelight and delivered by pony express.

I don't know why this happened, but I think some persons on this board are getting too excited and are creating a bad atmosphere. And I can tell you it is not CronoTriggerFan, he just wanted some information and his posts are not rude, childish or vulgar.

Lets face it a big part of the forum wants more info, and there are some people asking questions.
That's what a forum is all about, asking questions, sharing information and sometimes speculate. I'd like to be critical and keep my objectivity instead of blindly following a team or person. What's wrong with that?

Btw... did Craig already answer some questions, like he told yesterday he would try? Oh... probably not something I should remind him of. Could be interpreted as I'm being hostile or negative towards the holy pandora :p

Fixed

Seriously I have nothing against CronoTriggerFan but it totally seems like he is fanning the flames on A LOT of posts... Sorry but it needs to be said.

They are trying to make this as good as they can, with the time they can, and if you don't like it, you don't need to buy one.

Thanks for the assistance, bob. I'm not trying to make any enemies here, I just want some information. Apparently, I'm in the majority of those who voted in this poll. I'm not "fanning any flames", I'm asking questions. Is asking questions suddenly "rude, childish, or vulgar", closer?

CTF: several people pointed out good alternatives for you over a week ago (Paypal debit cards, Visa prepaids you can charge with Paypal, etc) - if you had acted on it instead of waiting & questioning, you would be all sorted by now.

Who says I didn't? I'm not talking about PayPal here, I've got an alternative in place should it not be accepted now, though I'd like not to use it. I'm talking about information on the preorder in general, as I don't wanna be mis/uninformed prior to buying.

The Pandora crew is obviously trying to intentionally confuse you so that you can't pre-order. They're very tricky.

Don't worry, you can thwart their evil plan by asking the same questions over and over until they answer. Two or three dozen times at least. That'll teach them a lesson they won't soon forget.

Remember, the person who isn't a customer but who has talked about becoming one in a few days is always right!

I think for a small team of people they do a great job of informing us what's going on.

CraigX basicly spends half his day answering people's questions. So that shows commitment to the product right there.

I for one will be preordering, I don't care about seeing finshed product yet. I have faith in the team of people.

:)

Usually Chip and I bump heads on issues around here, but...

You know the answers to those questions too, you're just not happy with them, so you keep asking.
There sure as hell is truth to those words.

Seriously, a discussion and even a poll on how the Pandora team needs to communicate more often 3-5 DAYS before preorder just seems silly. There have been so many, and more importantly, such granularity to the updates over the past 6 months that I'm prefectly happy with the level of the communication here. Just, now that the preorders are coming up so soon, all of you are acting like a crowd in a frenzy. From how I see it, no matter how many updates the Pandora team provided, it just wouldn't be enough. One person would have a question that nobody thought to answer and then everyone would hark on them saying that they do not provide enough updates.

Anybody capable of following those simple instructions will get their Pandora.
Sig'd.

Okay, okay. You guys win. I've just gotten a little antsy/jumpy/anal about this whole situation. Despite the amount of times I've complained about certain gaffs throughout this process, the team's trying their best, and I should stop being so critical. Looking forward to the email! :D

i have been trolling around these forums for a very long time. i have not however made many posts, the reason for this being that i haven't (up to this point) felt the need to voice any concern. all my worries, the keyboard the gaming controls....blah blah, when there was something i felt should be changed in some way i would wait thinking i had some time to really think about how i would want it before i said anything. when i would return to make my voice heard i would find that many many MANY others had already voiced there opinion over and over and over. not wishing to become one of the lemmings i would remain quiet. this thread is one of many resent threads that seem to become a place where people come to do nothing more then complain and wine about not getting enough answers to questions that don't need to be answered yet. we are all very eager to get our very own Pandora, my self included. but i think we all need to just take a deep breath put our big girl panties on and have a little patience and remember "good things come to those who wait." we will all know how to pay for it when the time comes to pay for one. just throwing this out there but i am pretty sure the "the Guys" working day and night to make this wonderful little box would like to get paid for there work. so until that day comes i will have $400 (mustn't forget shipping) in paypal and my credit card ready just in case. :)

Well, I voted yes for more info by blog. Why not? After all it is call selling your product, make believe in it. And I don't believe in renders. They are nice and all but, so are pornos. I'm just one of those crazy folks though, that happens to prefer the real thing.

I'd rather know that the team is busy working on the pandoras than spending time answering the same questions again and again on the forum.

Of course, personalized handwritten letters with an artsy ink drawing of the final version of the pandora would be nice to have :D

And a great collectable! :p

Anyway, I couldn't vote, because in order to vote "No, I think they do a good job already", I have to also vote for items which would, obviously, skew the results in some way, as they weren't relevant to my answer. :p
