Hehe you did great !
It would be awesome to have a smal flash/java application to rotate it. BTW the stick you made is Davec replacement cap, it is not the original one ^^.

It is the M2 cap actually.

Could the model be released?

I can imagine alot of stuff would be made with it.

Wee! That looks nifty. Here is an idea, how about the model converted to a low polygon count, then put into a nice 3d engine to show on the gp2x, while on the screen of the gp2x model the same program is shown, showing the gp2x model inside the gp2x model that show again, the program showing a gp2x model showing a gp2x model ... oh my god, I have gone cross eyed...

:D

Anyway, this is pretty cool for page design and other graphical applications. You can get a decent "photo" of the gp2x in high-res and from any angle you want it to be...

I hate to be a whiner, but you said you'd tweak it later on.

So anyways theres a few descrepancies:

Stick is too flat. Real MK2 stick has a bump in the center.
ABXY buttons are too flat, real ones are rounded.
Speaker "grill" is too big.
Text under GP2X which reads "Personal Entertainment Player" is white. It should be grey.

But anyways, thats a great model, better than I could've done in a millon years.

Hehe, now that's sweet! You are the guy who asked for the schematic shots, and someone replied 'If you are any good at modelling you won't need them'. Well, I guess you more than proved your ability :D

You remember that as well :D

*points at TelcoLou* hehe

Im tweaking the thing still and will have some new renders up later today. Its the lighting thats pissing me off as its making the thing look fake and hiding the detail on the stick etc, people keep saying its flat but it actually does have the bump *shrugs*
