Yeah, Portishead were towards the stringier side of trip-hop. They used more interesting chords and melodies than this, but some days a warm vocal in 4/4 and a major chord is all you need.

A decent cover of a Herbie Hancock classic, done without some of the arp-washes and some of the more noodly moog bits, but it gets the job done, and the intimate perspective of the drummer is always worth a watch.

And on the topic of covers, I didn't realise the first time I heard it that this was even a cover, but that's probably because I never heard half of the words on the original.
