Loop machines (beginning at 2:04) are quite popular in this scene - so many nice effects live made:

I suspected straight away, as soon as I read 'Russian folk song' in the title :)

But it was at 0.20 - 0.22 when I was certain, as soon as the guy 2nd from the left kicked in.

Classic.

And largest guitar I've ever seen on the right there

How long do you need to recognize this song?

Such a tragic narrative to accompany this song, however "peddlers" (the bit from tetris) is a little lighter. its from the beginning of the story before things get dark. It tells of a young merchant courting his love through using haggling/bartering for goods as a subtext for flirtation, he then gives her a ring and a promise that he will marry her when he returns from making his fortune in the city. This is why the tetris theme is so lively its intended to illustrate energetic haggling/flirtation.

The narrative then continues following him on his journey to the city and his eventual success, her awaiting his return etc. Having made his fortune he sets off home to return to his love and marry her as promised, but on his way he gets lost and asks a woodsman for directions. Seeing he is laden with money the woodsman murders him deep within the forest and takes his fortune and so he never returns to his true love and she never stops waiting for him.

Also i'm listening to this, amazing what you can do with a C64:
