There''''s Still Hope For Adobe Flash

I thought Flash would already be on it, it's available on desktop Linux and it's also available on other ARM devices (i.e. Nokia phones).
The fact that it's on Desktop Linux means absolutely nothing, because of the different architecture. You're comment about the phones, however, holds some merit. But from what I understand, there are certain things having to do with the way the Flash is for the Nokia tablets that make it so it isn't a copy-and-paste endeavour to get Flash running on the Pandora.

i already use it on my desktop, it plays youtube and some other videos.
there is still a (very) great number of sites it doesn't work with, but a couple of month ago i couldn't get it to play anything at all, so there is progress.
and: according to the website it compiles for arm :)
another plus is that it can use graphics hardware to scale videos etc, and of course its open source!

I've never been able to get Gnash to work, but if they can ship it with the Pandora, it would be a lot better than nothing.

well seeing as how every pandora is the same, I doubt you'll have much of a problem

If you liked that Tigra, have you seen these?:

http://www.cogcomp.com/ OMAP3530 (Cortex-A8/DSP) SOM
http://www.gumstix.com/store/catalog/produ...products_id=227 Gumstix Overo Fire

Both 3530 based.

I think the 3530 is better than the current Tigra models (since they are ARM11 based and 3530 is Cortex, GPUs roughly the same bit of a guess on GPUs though)! The only chips I've seen that really compete with the OMAP so far are Qualcomm's Snapdragon chip architecture (e.g. QSD8250). It's so hard to get specs for them though, so it's difficult to say how powerful they really are.

Newgrounds on Pandora anyone?

...No? Oh.

I think that would be very nice, yes. Although Newgrounds a few days ago went with the new fad of making their website "widescreen", whereas before at 800px wide it would have been perfect for the Pandora's resolution.

Plus Newgrounds isn't as good as it was a while ago. Its demographics have narrowed, judging by the scores films get there now compared to a few years ago.
