Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

Ha didn't know there was a rom selector added. This thing rocks. Too bad sound seems to slow things down alot. Can't wait for future releases!

You can change the samplerate from 22050 to 11025, this will speed things up.

I've edited my gngeo2x_config file so I can choose this option while in the file selector. Press "Y" to cycle sound on, sound off and sound on with samplerate 11025. Press "A" to cycle back through the options.

I put a link in my earlier post if you want to try it for yourself. :)

Thanks for the config Neo!!!!

I have last blade, mslug x, last resort, and breakers currently running quite well!!!

Thanks for everything guys, GAME ON!

NeoStuey: Turns out my version of dumpgfx didn't work anyway :) Probably because I used the dll version of zlib and I must have done something wrong.

:( tv-out doesnt work with this version and i am sure it did with the last version

Probably happened with the switch to the Hardware Accelerated Sdl. I'm sure it can be corrected quite easily by pepone.

I've put up a Mai Shiranui skin at the file archive.

You can download here. :)

What a fantastic emulator. I have been playing Turf Masters all week. If you can get fullspeed with fullband sound, expect a donation :)

Indeed, it's certainly due to the switch to HW SDL. But Paeryn is working hard to adress that issue.

Adding TV out wont slow down regular emulation would it? Hope not.

Honestly, I don't think so. Previous gngeo version didn't use the HW SDL, and TV out worked without impact on speed (AFAIK).

I don't recall any obvious slowdown with previous versions, will have to do some testing when it is compatible again. :)

O.T.

I won't be so active for a while as due to my own stupidity I've managed to brick my GP2X. I was playing around with different firmwares and tried to downgrade but I must have done something fundementaly wrong. :( Doesn't boot past the UBoot screen. I am aware of the unbricking guide and am contemplating my next decision with a little more care than the last. ;)

Back on topic.

If you are testing games that need their results updating on the wiki please remember to do so. I still see some blanks.

Thanks. :D
