Release PPSSPP, Emulator for PSP

Tales of Eternia runs so good that i tried with Sound and i

nearly understand the speech.

The new Backround Image is nice and the Nubs didnt i tried yet.

Feel about little speedup sience last Version and i only have 2 Cos for testing here.

Puzzle Bobble and Tales of Eternia.

Unfortunatily i dont had got run any free Demoversion yet.

Will report more next Days :)

Having a full touchscreen approach is deadly when you have to scroll through a directory tree with a resistive screen. That just doesn't work as in 80% of the time you will select a directory instead of initiating a scroll.

Luckily, the directory last selected does get remembered, so you only have to go through this "ordeal" once.

I have been bold and tested out Final Fantasy Crysis Core. Of course it did not work, except the logo at the beginning.

Small maintenance update on the repo.

Compatibility should have improved a bit, but it's still too slow,

Build 06

-----------

  • A bit faster (but still not enough)
  • some new options, like Show FPS
  • Use the right way to switch nubs to joystick mode

Hi thx for the Update,i found finaly a Homebrew Game who works buggy, but work fast and has 3D ;)

New release on the repo.

Build 07
-----------

  • A bit faster (again, but still not enough)
  • A frameskip option (ingame menu). Doesn't look compatible with "hardware transform"

Incedible,Puzzle Bobble have no Sound stuttering more and Tales of Eternia is nearly real

Playable with sound(here stutters a bit but i understand all what they say) @1.2GHZ overclocked

The "see no text Bug" is not more and i can read all Conversations in Tales of Eternia.

Unfortunly have i no TV Out Cable at the moment they are in repair.

but i can say:

Try this Version, its realy better than the other Versions before ;)

The GPU Speed looks the new bootleneck now. On my rebirth, the sound in Puzzle Bobble still stuter, even O/C at 1GHz. Glad it's begening to works well :)

Maybe can you pack new Libgles Libs from Repo into the next PND?

Maybe they give a little Speedup/more Combatility too?

Tipp for all,try to run PPSSPP in Mini Menu, gives little Speedup too ^_^

http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/repo/?pkgname=libgles-omap3

;)

But be carefully, not all Things are Combatible  from Angrstom Repo

and you can destroy your DEV SD and must make it again.

But its a Idea,maybe more Speed ;)

Pandora OS is Angstrom Based but not 100% Combatible to Angstrom Apps/Libs ^_^

Edit:

WOOOW...

...Trailblazer 3D is fully playable without Sound.

I downloaded a Testversion and will delete the File again.

Trailblazer work @1.1 GHZ with all activated exept the onscreen Buttons

and without Sound and without Frameskip.

Trailblazer is a 3D remake of the C64 Classical Game with very nice Grafics.

Reached up to 20-22 FPS.

I modified the GLES Init to use Framebuffer and not X11, as Nataz hinted in the AvP thread. So this build should be compatible with the new SGX beta drivers.

Also, I synched with the later PPSSPP sources (more JIT improvements, some Network code, more compatibe probably)...

Build 08

-----------

  • In sync with git depo
  • GLES init using Framebuffer, so should be compatible with new beta SGX drivers

Oh cool,i will try it.

I am just reflashing my Pandora because i tried some modificated Ligles-omap3 and that doesnt worked.

Then the new Driver, then trying trying. ^_^
