I never actually thought about this but makes sense. It would definitely suck a lot if you would pay tax for the voucher AND then again for whatever you buy with the voucher. At least in Germany vouchers are tax-free. And I think, that was stated at the shop.
Good stuff. Glad you joined the party.Pre pre order becomes pre order, 4Gb EU Mobile edition ordered!!

I actually have had to pay tax on gift cards that were then taxed again when used.I never actually thought about this but makes sense. It would definitely suck a lot if you would pay tax for the voucher AND then again for whatever you buy with the voucher.
I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this one above, but it looks like that theverge article may be based on this one:
http://liliputing.com/2016/05/dragonbox-pyra-pre-orders-begin-open-source-handheld-gaming-pc.html
For sure didnt get that option, only billing. I don't think it will matter as this is only a voucher. You can set that up when you order yes, it's part of the order process, on it's own page.
It will look like this:
So the second 24 hours of pre-orders is now up.
It seems we got :
350 Pre-orders the first 24 hours
80 Pre-orders in the second 24 hours.

That's how it works in the tech news industry. One site posts a story , then the rest use the story via syndication , just jazz it up a little or most times use it word for word.
That's why I wrote into Lilliputing , you get it on the smaller sites (comparatively), and the chance the big sites pick it up(via syndication), increases.
Where do you see this number?Im out of contest, my "Ordernumber" is 28
The PLS8-X will work on Verizon, but there appears to be some question as to whether it is data only or does have voice capabilities. It probably has voice capabilities and the missing mark is just a typo, but EvilDragon should really investigate that.So do none of the models work on Verizon? On my phone and it's kind of hard to navigate heh..
Well, even if it does have voice capabilities, they certainly won't work on Verizon. The PLS8-X will work on Verizon, but there appears to be some question as to whether it is data only or does have voice capabilities. On the one hand, since it's got the extra band, it should cost more, but on the other hand it was Verizon certified, so Verizon may actually have subsidized it in some way so maybe it's roughly the same price. Again, EvilDragon would be the one to ask about that.
But on the third, more important hand, fuck Verizon.

I never thought I'd see the day some message I wrote on a forum would end up quoted in a tech article.Le code est du style : GVXXizeDyUbEDXXXXX.
Only the 200 pre-preorderers know their exact place in line right now. We reserved it in october of 2015.Where do you see this number?
This is just weird, the data sheet specifically only mentions the PLS8-E and -US as voice supported and only the PLS8-X and -V as "Verizon APN Class Handling", which should mean something among the lines of Verizon voice support. This is on page 3, Specifications. And a typo on a official document intended to sell a chip to business partners shouldn't have typos, especially not if they'd make the product look bad.The PLS8-X will work on Verizon, but there appears to be some question as to whether it is data only or does have voice capabilities. And on the fourth hand of Vishnu, fuck the whole American mobile phone frequency system. Verizon is not the main cause of the problem, but the government selling those weird frequencies that no other country uses to companies without any thought process of how it would affect them internationally. It's a damn shame you guys can't use your cellphones anywhere but the USA and we can't uses ours there. It's almost as stupid as having your own internet that's incompatible with the rest of the world for arbitrary reasons. But on the third, more important hand, fuck Verizon.

0.4572 Meters.What is a cubit in metric?
This! As a US citizen I hate the possibility I may not be able to have a mobile Pyra because of this, and even IF I get one, I can't use it in the EU.And on the fourth hand of Vishnu, fuck the whole American mobile phone frequency system. Yea, I thought LTE was going to be a step toward being compatible with the rest of the world since we screwed everything up with CDMA. Oh well.
Also, I agree with , "fuck Verizon", but for other reasons.
But yea, this different freq issue... I'd also like to compare it to using the Imperial system of measurement when there is a perfectly good metric system out there... I really wish we would all switch to metric and let the old system R.I.P.
Finally preordered, yay!
