Finding a proper name and logo :)

Tesseract is a very serious suggestion though. It is a term for a 4th dimensional cube/box. It is, literally, a box that is bigger on the inside.
Even "MyBox" is bigger on the inside !!

...

Ok, I'll go away

I find "dragonbox" hard to read…

I'd rather have the letters in order.

otherwise, it's pretty nice

^ I really like this escher style!

I just fear such thin lines in Icons

Cube names is fine for codenames, as it provides an wide variety of names to pick from. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhombicuboctahedron is my favourite

They tend to be extremely long though, dont dont have any shortforms that i can think of.
Exactly. Less emphasis on the Dragon, more emphasis on the Box/container. The device is a container with abilities and dimensions that are far beyond it's form factor.

Pandora was famous for her container - later called a box. It's contents were more than expected from a simple container.

It's one of the reasons I really like Tesseract. It's a box that's bigger on the inside - 4th dimensional.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesseract Also known as a HyperCube, which would be a cool name as well.

I like the meaning of the Tesseract name then.

Hypercube is ok

HiQube is a shorter version which I prefer. HyperCube sounds a bit long, especially prefixed with DragonBox

edit: Thought I'd just check HiQube ... seems it's already taken by some business analysis type solution. Too bad :)

Hmm... continue to shorten HyperCube?

DragonBox HyperCube

DragonBox Hyper^3

DragonBox Hy3

or

Dragonbox HyperCube

Dragonbox HyCu (Pronounced Haiku)

HyCu I think is ok, nice and short.

Your pronunciation there I read as sounding [Hey-ku]

I naturally read is as sounding [High-cue]

Either way though, sounds ok to me

Here's another [Y] style, fairly balanced, and would still be defined when scaled down - as shown in the smaller shot of it

This kind of logo looks interesting, even if I don't like neon-colours. The Y seems fine, but I see some issues with the R because every other letter goes "around the corner" with it's style, only the  diagonal line from the R is just not in the pattern of the rest of the letters.

FZERO: That would be a decent logo for, say, a website. What would you emboss on the lid of the device, i.e. thinking in b/w?
