It seems that nobody has seen these updates.
Now it's much better (drool drool :D )

- test v2
add sound support.
add volume and frameskip control.
fix color issue.

- test v3
update cpu core for more compatible.
add auto frameskip.

control
A, B, X, Y, L, R: Button 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Select : Insert coin
Vol +/- : Volume control
Push + Vol +/- : Frameskip control
L + R + Start or Select : Quit

Download link is always this: http://www.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,5,2006

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Trying it out now :D

EDIT: StreetFighter Alpha's nearly perfect already

EDIT2: Found a problem.. I get the frameskip upto the level that works best, but it seems to slow down again while I'm playing. I think it's the auto frameskip cutting in when it's not needed? An option to disable the autoframe skip should sort this out though :)

I tried the new emu for 2 hours ago :)
Q-sound works pretty well but slowdown the games (who expect this?)
Most of the games still playable, sfa1 fullspeed :)

EDIT2: new games which now work:

-Ecofighter (ecofghtr)
-Super Puzzle Fighter 2 (spf2t)
-X-men (xmcota)
-X-men vs Streetfighter (xmvsfur1)

This thing is just amazing.
MvsC playable with sound.

Who's the guy behind the port?

Gigawing run as well

I have experienced the same bug on the psp version (although frameskip is not necessary on the psp)

YESSS! SPF works! Sadly, you can't see the left area of the play-field because of the "widescreen-mode"

Uh, how I know, what Frameskip I have? There is no note onscreen. And can I turn the Sound off?

Besides: Quick Alias-file-content of working CPS2 games If someone want to use Gmenu's Selector:

I wonder what DaveC will think is wrong with this version, now that there is sound and some games are running great...

You should rather enjoy the emulator and not mock-up DaveC .

Let me do it instead

No seriously, let's keep this thread chilled, at least for a while.

I guess I would say it should use Cyclone to speed it up so more games would be running great. Still cool though, I wonder who ported it?

Tried
Capcom Sports Club
Street fighter 2 The new Challengers
Street fighter Alpha 2
Dungeon and Drugons
X men : Children of the atom
Street fighter Alpha 3

All work great. Some expected slowdowns only :)
I guess next build will fix a lot of things.
Scretching will be good as well!

Good job

Brilliant release! Wow, the sound hardly seemed to slow it down at all. Absolutely wonderful, thank you Mystery Coder! :)

Don't know why but my graphics are corrupted.

I've tried ddtod (with cache) and starts with sound and can play, but graphics are like litle color boxes.

Also tried ddotdu and ddotdh with equal results.

Know why??

I'm running kernel ver. 2.0.0 and cps2emu ver 3.

Just tried ddtod on v3 and it worked perfectly. I'm on fw2.1.0 but I don't know if that would make any difference. Try running the cache dumping program again, perhaps it corrupted your file?
